PROJECT MANAGER POSITION DESCRIPTION
The MT Group is a hematology/oncology healthcare solutions firm founded by senior healthcare executives to support and facilitate the commercialization of medical technology and therapeutics to assist in the advancement of personalized medicine. We are seeking a Project Manager that contains the following in their purview:

The Opportunity
We are a small company, but we are growing quickly and conducting very novel and innovative research studies. We believe that people make a company great. We are looking for a Project Manager to organize and coordinate multiple pre-clinical research projects. The PM will work closely with our MTG sites and pharmaceutical sponsors. The PM will maintain high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication. Our ideal Project Manager should be able to manage multiple research projects, track the progress of these research projects and ensure deadlines are met.
Ideal candidate is sharp, motivated, detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills. The PM will work closely with our team of Project Managers, Research Assistants, VP of Operations and our two Co-Founders, President and VP/Medical Director. The PM must be able exercise discretion and judgment, be a quick thinker, highly efficient, intensively attentive to detail, extremely organized, disciplined with a proactive and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- As the project manager, you’ll play a key role in working with the MTG sites and sponsors
- Oversee and manage multiple research projects
- Help create and implement study SOPs
- Work directly with our MTG research sites and provide overall study management (site selection, study site initiation, daily communication)
- Interact with study sponsors
- Assist and oversee regulatory protocol issues (e.g., protocol deviations, IRB submissions and approvals, et al)
- Provide administrative support for senior management
- Arrange and monitor the daily transport of study specimens
- Maintain/QC study spreadsheets
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service to internal and external clients
- Intermittent work on some Saturday’s
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Skills (Required)
- Must have a college or post-graduate degree or equivalent job experience and training
- Minimum 2 years experience in a science, research or medical setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be willing and able to work additional or flexible hours when needed, some weekends initially for training
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience as a research coordinator or research associate
- Experience with pharmaceutical clinical trials
- Experience in the hospital setting
- Oncology training
